App Security Champion is a month-long programme on secure application coding and cybersecurity in partnership with NASSCOM, consisting of a course and “The Great AppSec Hackathon” for college students.
The month-long course to be held in Sept-Oct 2021, comprises of 51.5 hours of learning, 13.5 hours of theory and 38 hours of hands-on exercise. Colleges across Telangana can register students who are pursuing either B.Tech / M.Tech / BCA / MCA (all specializations) or B.Sc/M.Sc (Computers, Electrical, Electronics, Communications, Physics, Maths) or Polytechnic (Computers, Electrical, Electronics, Communications) and are interested in coding.
With self-paced classes and assessments which students can complete as per their convenience.
Exciting giveaways worth Rs.50,000, Rs. 30,000, Rs. 20,000 will be awarded to the first three winners of The Great AppSec Hackathon, along with trophies.
Exciting giveaways worth Rs. 10,000 - Top 3, Rs. 5000 - Top 4-6, Rs. 2500 - Top 7-10 for Students finishing the course at the earliest.

Students who already have future skills account will be added to the CCoE group which will allow them to take part in the App Security Champion event.

The course is self-paced and hence, flexible. Only the multiple expert sessions are live, however, these are optional. The Great AppSec Hackathon will be held at the end of the course and is currently scheduled for 27th & 28th November 2021.
The course starts on 4th August 2021 and ends on 24th October 2021. We will be sharing a detailed brochure of the course schedule, expert sessions, and The Great AppSec Hackathon with the registered participants soon.
A Joint participation Certificate and badge will be awarded after the completion of the course.
